Indonesia Fascist regime criminalised Freedom of Expression in West Papua

Indonesia has criminalised freedom of expression by charging West Papuans who express themselves through protests with treason. Indonesia mellows their actions by saying that the protesters were handed shorter sentences than the ones sought by prosecutors and we should be grateful. We are saying they shouldn’t even be facing conviction or jail time in the first place. Indonesian law is racist towards West Papuans, freedom of expression in the Indonesian constitution does not apply to the West Papuans. Indonesia has done everything in its power to create hate towards the Papuans as we have witnessed for ourselves on this page from Indonesian bots + humans who comment against our efforts.
