With keynote speeches from Adam Hanieh and Sebastian MuƱoz, the panel will provide a searing expose of the injustices of an era of energy expansion under the guise of energy transition.
Adam Hanieh is Professor of Political Economy and Global Development at the Institute for Arab and Islamic Studies, University of Exeter, and Distinguished Research Fellow at the Institute of International and Area Studies (IIAS) at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

Stand for Congo is a movement that was created to fight against the Western oppression that has been inflicted on the people of Congo for decades. Sebastian OrdoƱez MuƱoz is Senior Programmes Officer at War on Want. Sebastian works in solidarity with organisations, movements, and networks working towards Just, Equitable, and Ecological Transitions, mainly in Abya Yala (Latin America).
Dorothy Guerrero is an author, climate justice, and just energy campaigner from the Phillippines, now in the UK. She is currently working as a part-time consultant to WoMin African Alliance’s work on Oil and Gas and as interim coordinator of LMN.
