HUNDREDS OF INDONESIAN TROLLS FLOOD VANUATU PHOTOS WITH RACIST COMMENTS.
Since the Prime Minister of Vanuatu raised the ongoing human rights abuses in West Papua at the UN, thousands of Indonesian internet trolls have been attacking famous Vanuatu-related Instagram accounts with racist comments.
These comments, which were posted under Vanuatu Tourism and cultural photos, refered to Ni-Vanuatu people as cannibals, animals, gorillas, the n-word, primitive, and other anti-black and racist rhetoric.
These tactics were aimed at shaming the government and people of Vanuatu for continuously supporting their West Papuan brothers and sisters in their fight for Independence from Indonesia’s brutal colonial regime.
Indonesia is scared that a small yet strong Melanesian nation like Vanuatu is able to fight for West Papua at the UN.
