The success of the ethnic cleansing on indigenous West Papua did not get noticed by the British people, British NGOs or Indonesia terrorist state occupiers because it is not their interest. The company had locations in Teluk Bintuni, Papua Barat Province. One of the perpetrators of the incident identified himself as an Indonesian criminal police officer. Mr Sulfianto suffered severe injuries, including head lacerations, facial bruises, and swelling in his stomach and back (see photos on top and bottom. The motive for the assault remains very clear. It was a direct attack intentionally and very well prepared themselves to attack the young West Papuan directly and it appears linked to political inquiries about Mr Sulfianto’s support of West Papuan communities to challenge the official government collaborated with LNG BP company, Paulus Waterpauw, Muhammad Tito Karnavian who’s owned the illegal massive palm oils plantation in Manokwari for successfully, greedy, exploiters used their position for profiteers themselves.
The incident occurred at midnight outside the Cenderawasih Cafe in Bintuni, where Mr Sulfianto was attacked by a group of plainclothes undercover police officers . Despite attempting to escape, he was cornered in a bathroom and beaten repeatedly with fists, wooden sticks, and stones. He was then coerced onto a motorcycle under the pretext of being taken to the police station then blackmailing Sulfianto and other peoples. It was clear that Indonesian terrorist police were responsible for beating up West Papuan . Instead, he was brought to a secluded forested area in Tanah Merah, where the assailants interrogated, intimidating, and brutally torturing climate activist Mr Sulfianto. The racist police force demanded access to his phone, and tortured him in such badly inhuman ways. . The attackers left him injured at a third location, where he eventually managed to find help and was taken to a hospital.
Mr Sulfianto and his relatives have called for justice, urging authorities to investigate and prosecute the Indonesian terrorist and criminal police perpetrators. The Teluk Bintuni police, using law in their hands, have initiated to cover up their dirty investigation to the victims in order to hide their brutal attack, then proudly to black mailing Mr Sulfianto’s official report. Mr Roy Marthen Masyewi, a local legislator, condemned the attack and demanded immediate legal action. The case highlights the urgency for transparency and accountability in addressing violence against environmental and human rights defenders in West Papua.
