The Kurdish community in London will come together in Finsbury Park on 23rd March to celebrate Newroz, marking the arrival of spring and the new year.

WPNews.Org Finsbury Park – London West Papua joined the Kurdish Newroz Festival on this Sunday to celebrating Newroz in London, The Kurdish people uphold their identities, heritages, and culture alive event thought Kurdish Newroz being banned by the Iran colonialism, Turkey colonialism, Syria colonialism, and Iraq colonialism because for the occupiers points of view expressing Kurdish resistance and existence which being there for century and the occupiers did not want the world knowing that behind this Newroz celebrating Kurdish people being massacred, genocide, and ethnic cleansing every hours bombs, bullets of the Turkey occupier, Syria occupier, Iran occupier, and Iraq occupier on indigenous Kurdish land. The entire world focus on free Palestinian struggle but same people claimed Muslim socialist, leftist organisation so hard just to mentioned about Kurdish people have got right to self-determination from Turkey, Iran, Syria, and Iraq illegal occupiers on indigenous Kurdish land because both Palestinian and Kurdish have got equal rights to have their own land back from immigrant criminal settlers.
The speeches at the Kurdish Newroz Festival at Finsbury Park to highlighted the importance of Newroz in Kurdish history. It was noted that by celebrating Newroz in London, the Kurdish people uphold their identity, their heritages, and culture. Additionally, speakers highlighted that this celebration reflects the Kurdish people’s commitment to freedom, dignity, and their peaceful symbolise of the resistance to keep alive. Newroz is an integral part of Kurdish culture and history, emphasising that the Kurdish people celebrate it within the framework of their struggle for freedom, democracy, human rights, right to self-determination to be free from Turkey, Iran, Syria, and Iraq oppressors continuing suppressing Kurdish identities with occupiers supporting by the Western imperialist Arasibised, Turkification, and Persian racist supremacy toward to Kurdish identities and Kurdish heritages
Amed said, “This year’s Newroz is different because Mr. Öcalan has left his mark on it. That is why, both in terms of our struggle and politically, this year’s Newroz carries a deeper meaning. Our people have celebrated it with great enthusiasm in all areas, raising the slogan ‘Freedom for Leader Öcalan and a democratic society.
The Kurdish people have proven many times that they are the people of Newroz. Of course, Newroz is a celebration for all the peoples in the Middle East and Mesopotamia, but today, it is the Kurdish people who celebrate it with the greatest strength and enthusiasm. Today, by walking in the footsteps of Mr. Öcalan and following the line of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), the Kurdish people are leading the way in democracy, resistance, and struggle. They have paid a heavy price to reach this stage at the cost of many martyrs. We hope that this Newroz marks the beginning of a new era. As the militants and guerrillas of this movement, we will continue to strive for the fulfillment of the process initiated by Öcalan. Once again, I wish a happy Newroz to all my comrades, our Leader Öcalan, the mothers of the martyrs, and our entire people.”
