Freeport Mulai Ciptakan Konflik Sosial di Timika

TIMIKA, Westpapuanews.Org — PT Freeport Indonesia yang telah menerima Izin Usaha Pertambangan Khusus (IUPK) versi Pemerintah Indonesia tetapi masih menolak kewajiban divestasi saham sebesar 51 persen dikabarkan mulai menebar konflik sosial di Timika, Kabupaten Mimika, Papua.

Antek Freeport diketahui mulai bergerak mengeksploitasi konflik suku, terutama di kalangan dua suku besar Amungme dan Kamoro dan lima suku kerabat, Nduga, Damal, Moni, Mee dan Dani.

Tujuannya untuk mengalihkan perhatian publik, mengacaukan konsentrasi massa rakyat yang mengusung tuntutan Tutup Freeport di Mimika dan menumpulkan perlawanan rakyat Indonesia terhadap PT Freeport.

Sabtu (01/04) kemarin, antek Freeport berhasil mengorganisir pembunuhan terhadap salah satu tokoh Suku Amungme bernama Luther Magal.

Luther Magal, yang tewas ditikam itu,  kini jenazahnya masih ditahan pihak keluarga dan saat ini sedang terjadi mobilisasi keluarga Magal untuk melakukan penyisiran dan pembalasan terhadap suku-suku yang diduga merupakan suku asal para pelaku pembunuhan.

Di kalangan Suku Kamoro, seorang Tokoh Lembaga Masyarakat Suku Amungme (LEMASA), juga antek Freeport, pada Sabtu (01/04) kemarin mulai menghasut masyarakat suku Kamoro di Pelabuhan Pomako untuk saling perang antar Kampung.

Pada hari ini, Minggu (02/04) pagi, antek Freeport berhasil merekayasa dan melanjutkan perang di antara sesama suku Nduga yang sudah berlangsung sejak Sabtu (01/04) kemarin.

Komunitas Nduga di Jalur 01 dan Jalur 03 di Kampung Kandung Jaya KM 11 Timika terlibat baku panah sehingga banyak jatuh korban di kedua belah pihak.

Korban konflik suku Nduga rata-rata dilarikan ke Rumah Sakit Caritas, sebuah Rumah Sakit yang dibangun menggunakan dana Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) oleh PT Freeport dengan tujuan terselubung mengobati korban konflik suku-suku pribumi yang terlihat sengaja dipelihara.

Saksi mata menyebutkan, pihak penegak hukum dalam hal ini Polri dan TNI tidak bertindak tegas menghentikan konflik tersebut.

“Masyarakat Nduga saling serang, sementara pihak Polri dan TNI hanya ikut nonton,” kata Saksi Mata.

Berbagai sumber di Kabupaten Mimika menyebutkan, konflik sosial di areal operasi Tambang Raksasa asal Amerika itu biasa diciptakan oleh antek Freeport, baik yang sipil maupun militer.

“Sejak tahun 1996, konflik sosial terus dipelihara dan dana CSR sebesar 1 persen lebih banyak dipakai untuk selesaikan konflik ketimbang membangun masyarakat setempat,” ungkap John, salah satu tokoh masyarakat Mimika. ■Kaikok Besenovsky
