WELCOME TO THE INDONESIA FASCIST STATE DEMOCRACY IN WEST PAPUA
Today, October 15, 2025, West Papuan University students from various campuses in Jayapura City held a peaceful demonstration in Abepura Circle (Lingkaran Abepura, Jayapura) to protest against the Indonesian colonialism terrorist militarism, illegal annexation of barbaric democracy, and the Indonesian fascist state coloniser national strategic projects for exploiting indigenous West Papua’s natural resources for the multinational cooperation (PSN) and Indonesian terrorist state colonial capitalism plundered indigenous natural resources taking place in West Papua, specifically in the Papuan Highlands Provinces (Intan Jaya, Pengunungan Bintang, Puncak Jaya, Tembagapura, Yahukimo, Bintuni).
This demonstration was in response to the increasing Indonesian military fascism in indigenous Papuans’ areas and the potential socio-ecological impacts of the PSN, which they deemed did not involve the fair and transparent participation of local communities.
The students called for Indonesia’s colonisers to get out of West Papua and stop the illegal annexation entire West Papua. Indonesia’s fascist colonial government is to be carried out with an approach that prioritises justice, human rights, equal rights, and stops the ecocide in West Papua.
The demonstration proceeded orderly and peacefully despite the indiscriminate violence of the Indonesian police.
Indonesia is a fascist state coloniser in West Papua. Indonesians covering up their barbarism, colonialism, dictatorship democracy in the occupied West Papua from the International communities believe that Indonesia is a democratic country, is a mere lie and not true.
