NEWS CENTER- KNPB [West Papua National Committee] protests against Indonesia’s illegal occupation of Papua through the 62nd anniversary of the New York Agreement 1962 on Thursday, 15th August 2024 to continue to increase On August 13, West Papua National Committee leader Omikzon Balingga and more than 60 KNPB ( activists were detained by Indonesian coloniser racist police in West Papua, occupied by the Indonesian facist state occupier, and then taken to a police station.
Dozens of West Papuan people were also arrested for distributing leaflets to protest against the New York Agreement signed between three colonial states, United States of America, Indonesia and the Netherlands, regarding the political status of West Papua.
Protests have erupted in many parts of West Papua (Wamena, Manokwari, Paniai, Jawa Bali) over the arrests. The initial aim of the 62nd anniversary of the “New York Agreement 1962” and Amerika, Netherlands, sold out West Papua into Indonesia, the facist state coloniser in West Papua. The protests should be legal under the Indonesian rules, but West Papua is occupied region forbidden and not allowed because Indonesia is hidden secret on going Genocide and ethnic cleansing on black people’s of Melanesian races in West Papua. In a similar struggle of Kurdish people’s being betrayal with the “Lausanne Treaty 1923 more than 101 years Kurdish being sold out and occupied by the Turkey occupier, Iran occupier, Iraq occupier, and Syria occupiers in indigenous Kurdish land
The recisten of Kurdish people’s and West Papua are still continuing, and Indonesia racist criminal police arrested KNPB activists in Paniai and different regions. The people now say the aim is to defeat Indonesian occupation as Kurdish people’s fighting to defeat Iran, Turkey, Syria, and Iraq colonialism in Kurdistan.
