OXFORD CITY – West Papua and Kanak joined march from Manzil Way to Oxford city centre regarding nearly 21 months of Gaza genocide, Gaza has been relentlessly bombed and starved. It got worse and worse while our government ignored the suffering of the innocent Palestinian. It is similar ongoing genocide of France colonialism in Kanaky and Indonesia barbaric colonialism in West Papua more than 60 years until now. The event organised by the Oxford Palestine Solidarity Campaign collaborated with the few grassroots organizations in Oxfordshire on this Saturday, 5th July 2025 – Oxford.
Only ordinary people and people power always stand up for humanity and fight for injustice against the apartheid state’s and ethnic cleansing of every oppressed nation in the world globally when NATO’s America, Britain, France, Western countries and Arabs countries would not stand for Palestinian and their democracy only to support the genocide of the Zionist regimes in order to wipe out the innocent Palestinian from their indigenous land occupied by the illegal settlers and Israel occupiers.
The struggle of the Palestinian, Kanak, West Papua and Kurdish people have one command struggle demanding their indigenous land back from the criminal illegal settlers on our motherland which are France’s colonists who had to end 172 years of illegal annexation and end the colonialism in Kanaky. Turkey’s, Iran’s, Syria’s and Iraq’ colonialist 109 years of illegal annexation and the end of colonialism in Kurdistan with Kurdish, Palestinian, West Papuan, Kanaks, and all the first nations fighting for their lands from the illegal criminal settlers.
It is important to stand for international solidarity for other oppressed nations. Today, Oxford stood up even Palestinian continue to suffer in grief, in rage, in solidarity. At the same time, our right to protest is being dismantled — with the arrest of peaceful activists today, a growing threat to our freedom of speech. Still, we came together.
You might ask: what difference does protest make? Why Kurdish, West Papua, Kanak, and Palestinian have the same commands to struggle against the illegal occupiers and colonialists demand their lands back!
Maybe not much alone. But our collective presence, our refusal to stay silent, and our continued action does make a difference — especially on the ground, in our communities, and for those watching from afar.
