On this anniversary of 9 years Suruç Massacred by the racist Turkish police killed 33 innocent youth simply to aids Kurds children’s who’s needs toys for playing and recovering their mental health, their minds, their emotional after loss entire families, and parents being orphans because ISIS barbarism operation mercenaries collaborated with the Turkey NATO, USA creted and financing directly to the ISIS for ethnic cleansing on Kurdish ethnicity 2014 Kobane, Shengal Yazidis Kurdish Massacred.
Therefore, the protest was organised by the Young Struggle London, Refugee Workers Culture Association (GIK-DER) in London on Sunday, 20 July 2024.
On July 20, 2015, ISIS carried out a suicide bomb attack in the Pirsus district of Urfa, North Kurdistan. 33 people lost their lives and more than 100 were wounded in the explosion.
Led by the Federation of Socialist Youth Associations (SGDF), the people had gathered at the Arama Cultural Center as part of a campaign to bring toys and aid to children in Kobanî, a western Kurdish town neighboring Urfa.
The only defendant who was under arrest in the Pirsus massacre case has been sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment 34 times, as well as 1,890 years in prison.
The 21st and final hearing of the case was held on October 22 at the Urfa 5th Heavy Penal Court.
Upon the call of the Socialist Youth Associations Federation (SGDF), around 300 young people came together in Pirsus on July 20, 2015. They were there to bring toys and humanitarian aid to the Kurdish town of Kobanî. While they were in front of the Amara Cultural Center for a statement for the press, a suicide bomb attack was carried out. 33 people lost their lives and more than 100 were wounded.
ISIS operative SheykhAbdurrahman Alagöz was identified to have carried out the bomb attack. A confidentiality order was imposed on the file on July 23, 2015, because “the examination of the documents in the file would jeopardize the purpose of the investigation.”
Filed by the Şanlıurfa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office 18 months after the massacre, the indictment demanded that three defendants, one of whom was arrested, be given life sentences aggravated 104 times each.
Yakup Şahin, one of the defendants, was arrested as a suspect. According to the indictment, Deniz Büyükçelebi and İlhami Ballı, the other two defendants, were in Syria.
The lawsuit filed into the Pirsus Massacre started 21 months after the incident at the Şanlıurfa 5th Heavy Penal Court on May 4, 2017. The only defendant in the case who was not a fugitive did not attend the hearing.
