Nearly a decade ago, Benny Wenda visited cities around Australia for the Breaking the Silence tour in 2015, and now Koteka will follow in his father’s footsteps 2025.

He hopes to amplify the voices of his people in West Papua under Indonesian colonial rule, continuing to face military violence, threats to their lands, and increased internal displacement.
Through music and personal stories, he hopes to inspire new generations and expose the slow genocide on Australia’s doorstep.
