For over 65,000 years, First Nations people have thrived on this land, and their resilience continues to shape the path forward. Let’s honour the truth of our past and stand together for a future rooted in justice, treaty, and solidarity.

West Papua commemorate January 26 is a day of mourning in solidarity with our indigenous siblings. This Sunday, 26th January 2025 will mark 237 years since Britain began the violent, separation, and dispossession of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. However next neighbour West Papua will mark 63 years of the Indonesia illegal annexation since 1963.
We will mark 102 years of the Remembering the Treaty of Lausanne With their ancestral homeland of indigenous Kurdish people being sold out into the Arabs, Persian, Turks colonialism which the Western imperialists colonial projects split between four modern states colonisers – Iran occupier, Iraq occupier, Syria occupier, and Turkey occupier – the Kurdish people have been subject to a century of subjugation, the violent, dispossession, ethnic cleansing, and ongoing genocide being ignored by the Western imperialists, NATO, Muslims countries, Christian countries simply for being Kurdish ethnicity.
Also we wont forget to mark 77 Years of the Palestinian Nakba 1948 by the Israel coloniser. Israel occupier had expelled more than 300,000 Palestinians from their homes, including 130,000 who were displaced in 1948, and Israel annexed Palestinian land support by the Germany, Britain, Western government and It was colonised by the Turkey who managed to slaughtered innocent Palestinian before 1948 under Ottoman Empire many Palestinian become slaves, and imprisoned for fighting for their right to self-determination.

However, our Kanak Melanesian family will mark 172 years (24/9/2025) since France coloniser began the violent, separation, and dispossession of Kanak. Therefore, as indigenous people have in common experiences by the illegal criminal settlers in our indigenous land and sovereignty. The suffering due to treaties signed by the old colonial powers. These treaties transferred power to a new set of oppressors, a group of colonisers with their own history in the region. Then rewritten history on the coloniser and oppressors point of views to justification of stealing Indigenous Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islander and brain wash all the illegal settlers if those Indigenous Aboriginal land belong to the white European supremacy and ethnic cleansing projects to wipe out all the indigenous people.

Abolish the Date. Stand in Solidarity with Mob. 🖤💛❤️
Today is not a day of celebration for us; it’s a day of survival, reflection, and resistance. While others may mark this as a holiday, for First Nations people, it’s a painful reminder of the invasion and ongoing injustices we’ve endured for over 237 years.
But we’re still here. We’re still thriving. We are resilient.
Today, we gather with our mob, family, and allies to honour the strength, resilience, and culture that have withstood centuries of colonisation. It’s a day to uplift one another, to recognise the incredible power of First Nations people, and to remind the world that our voices will not be silenced.
