Papua Militant International Speaking at Black Lives Matter Oxford
OXFORD: Papuan Militant International would like to thank you Black Lives Matter Oxford organisers given platform to speaking of Papuan Lives Matter on Wednesday, 3rd June 2020 at South Park, Oxford.
Malcolm X very famously said after the assassination of President Kennedy “Being an old farm boy myself, chickens coming home to roost never did make me sad; they always made me glad.” He was referring to the assassination as just a taste of the violence that America had been inflicting around the world in places like Vietnam, Cambodia, Cuba, etc.
We sympathise with those affected by systematic racism however that is just a tiny taste of what your country has and is inflicting around the world in places like West Papua.
It was during Kennedy’s term as president that the administration of West Papua was transferred from the Dutch to Indonesia.
Since then, there has been no peace. More than 500, 000 West Papuans have been killed because of this deal made between the USA and Indonesia.
When will either have the balls to come out and apologise to the people of West Papua and rectify what they have done.
