We mourn the passing of Fa’anana Efeso Collins with heavy hearts. His dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to serving our communities will be remembered and cherished always. Efeso was a beacon of hope, a tireless advocate for justice, and a champion for the voiceless.

We stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in West Papua, Sudan, Palestine, Congo, and beyond, fighting for their rights, dignity and freedom. Their struggles are intertwined with ours, and their voices deserve to be heard.

As Tagata Moana, we share a rich heritage built on community, respect, and solidarity values. However, in times of injustice and oppression, our silence can be deafening, and our inaction can speak volumes.

To those who have chosen silence even after 30,000+ deaths in Palestine, I urge you to reconsider. Your voice matters, your actions have an impact, and your solidarity can inspire change. Let us not be complicit in the suffering of others but instead, stand together in solidarity and support.

Now more than ever, we must raise our voices, advocate for change, and stand up against injustice.
